A cooperation protocol between the Judges Club of Egypt and Aswan University opens the prospects for postgraduate studies for judges

Within the framework of supporting cooperation between academic institutions and judicial bodies, Chancellor Abu al-Hussein Fathi Qaid, deputy president of the court of Cassation and president of the Egyptian judges club, and Dr. Louay Saadeddine Nusrat, acting president of Aswan University, signed today a joint cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Commerce at Aswan University and the Egyptian judges club, at the club’s headquarters in Cairo.

The signing ceremony was attended by Chancellor Mahmoud al-Mirghani, vice president of the court of Cassation and First Vice President of the Judges Club, Dr. Samuel Essam, Professor of Management and Planning at Egyptian universities.the rector was accompanied by an academic delegation that included Dr. Hassan Amin al-shagti, dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Walid mohammedine, vice dean for graduate studies and research, and Dr. Walid Siddiq, head of the Department of Business Administration.

The protocol aims to provide distinguished professional graduate programs, including Masters and Professional Doctorates in the fields of Business Administration, public policies, and development projects, with special facilities for members of the judiciary and their families.

Consultant Abu al-Hussein Qaid stressed that this cooperation comes within the framework of “consultation and agreement in good faith” to provide an educational environment that supports the development of professional and scientific performance of judges and consultants, in a way that serves civil society and contributes to the advancement of the cultural and academic level.

For his part, Dr. Louay Saadeddine Nusrat, president of Aswan University, explained that Aswan University will undertake the implementation of programs in accordance with the approved regulations and ministerial decisions, pointing out that this step represents a qualitative leap in integrating modern management concepts into the judicial work environment.

Consultant Mahmoud al-Mirghani also pointed out that this protocol reflects the keenness of members of the judiciary to keep pace with scientific development, especially in the fields of administration and public policies, pointing out that these programs have become an increasing demand in judicial circles. In the same context, Dr. Hassan al-Shakti stressed that the professional graduate programs at the Faculty of Commerce are characterized by flexibility and discipline, and rely on a hybrid system that combines face-to-face lectures and distance education, with a focus on scientific and applied interaction, taking advantage of strategic partnerships with major Egyptian universities such as Assiut University and South Valley.
